1月30日，中國(guó)銀行行長(zhǎng)張輝在中國(guó)銀行總行大廈與英格蘭銀行副行長(zhǎng)兼英國(guó)審慎監(jiān)管局首席執(zhí)行官薩姆·伍茲舉行會(huì)談，圍繞中國(guó)宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)、銀行業(yè)發(fā)展、集團(tuán)及在英機(jī)構(gòu)發(fā)展等話(huà)題進(jìn)行深入交流。

雙方一致表示，中英金融合作成果豐碩，中國(guó)銀行長(zhǎng)期參與并積極支持英國(guó)離岸人民幣市場(chǎng)建設(shè)，助力人民幣國(guó)際使用穩(wěn)步發(fā)展。希望進(jìn)一步深化溝通合作，共同推動(dòng)中英經(jīng)貿(mào)關(guān)系取得新發(fā)展。

President Zhang Hui Meets with Sam Woods, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and CEO of the Prudential Regulation Authority

On January 30, Zhang Hui, President of Bank of China Limited, met with Sam Woods, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and CEO of the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing. The two parties held in-depth discussions on a wide range of topics including China’s macroeconomic landscape, development of the banking sector, and the Group’s global and UK operations.

Both parties appreciated the fruitful outcomes of financial cooperation between China and the United Kingdom and the active role Bank of China has been playing in supporting the development of the UK’s offshore RMB market and expanding the international use of RMB. They agreed to further deepen dialogue and cooperation to facilitate new progress in China-UK economic and trade ties.
